Yesterday, we spent a little too much time out in the sun, got a little color on my arms. So much for being a bronzed babe this year. I had a nice surprise visit from Virgil and Charlene last night. It is so nice to see faces from home.
At 4:30 a.m I started Chemo #8, my numbers are going down, but they were still high enough that I got to go outside for a little while this morning. I had a massage this morning which I could totally get used to. I may have to have mom take lessons so I can continue with that pampering when I get home. This round of chemo has made me super sleepy. Tonight I started Chemo #9 - yeah one more in the morning and I am done with this round!!!! Mom, Coy, Hannah and Luke were here this evening. Please continue sending your prayers and hugs, they are what keep me going.
Hi, glad things are still going well and you still get to go outside. The day was sunny for a while until the wind, hail and rain decided to show up this afternoon. I don't think my flowers have a chance with the rain, cold and hail. How's your mom doing? You take care and I'll check to see how things are tomorrow. Amy
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are done with the chemo. I didn't get to go Sat. night. My cabins are full and will be most of this week. It is supposed to be summer time you know!! I heard it was a great time. I finally got my flowers planted on Saturday. It was a great day. It stormed all night last night. Had me awake most of the time. There was some huge, loud thunder about 4:00 this morning. Sounds like everyone in town heard it. Heck, we should have called you. Take care and know that I think about you all the time and that you are in my prayers. Helen
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteIt was good to visit with you tonight. Keep your chin up and stay strong! We are praying for you everyday and sending you hugs and you are always our mind. Just think, this round of chemo is DONE!! That is one step closer to getting to come home. I am glad Marsha was able to stay with you. You have so many people that care about you and that are praying for you! The benefit auction was a big success! (Of course :)) I am glad you were able to enjoy some outings this week and it sounds like the weather was cooperating for you. It rained here again today, it seems to be doing that everyday now. Well, you take care and get a good nights sleep! I will pray that tommorrow will be a really good day for you!! Stay positive and be strong!
Love ya lots,
Connie
