Tuesday June 3, 2008

Hello From sunny downtown Denver. Not a very exciting day, other than it was my last day of chemo this morning. My hand is swollen today, so they zipped me to the basement for an ultrasound to make sure I don't have a blood clot in my arm since it is in the same arm as my line. We got to go outside today as long as we stayed on the premises so we made a trip around the block so much for our Starbucks run. It felt nice to be outside and get some fresh air, but I definitely stayed out of the sun. Mom will be my new roommate starting tonight.
Keep sending your prayers and hugs!!!!!

  1. Just think of that swollen hand as a boxing glove to kick the you know what out of this stuff. Glad your mom will be with you again as she has alot of strength to share with you. We all know you are so strong but a hug from mom always feels good no matter what age you are. Hugs from home and our prayers are of you always.

So glad to hear you got to enjoy the sunshine today. It dried up enough today to plant part of my garden! Yeah!! I pray for your counts and your spirits to be up tomorrow.

  3. trentcalebHey gal

Glad to hear you got another round knocked out with your chemo! I just gotta tell you I heard Hugh's carwash was going belly up without you supporting it HHEEEEHEEE! He'd really be rolling in it if you were here with it raining everyday mixed with all the construction. That is if you can make your way around the construction to get to the car wash. Anyways, sure missing you and your smiling face. You keep at it on your end and we'll all keep at it with the prayers on this end. MMMUAH!

  7. Brenda,
Promotions freight of about 100 cases plus came in today so I kept busy checking it in. It was good to see you Sunday night and also seeing Marsha. The weather there is so much nicer and I see what you mean about all the flowers blooming. My lilac bushes haven't even produced flowers yet. It sounds like we are supposed to get more rain and hopefully some sunshine will follow. Now that Chemo is done for awhile, maybe you will not be so tired. Take advantage of your time without Chemo and do something fun. Get all the rest you need and we will talk later. Charlene
