Tues. Aug.26

HI!! Today to keep eve ryone updated I will be Brenda's not so sexy secretary a.k.a. blog intern. Today she is ground "0" so all the dreaded has been arriving starting day before yesterday and hitting pretty hard last night, running a temp. aches all over,sick to her stomach,etc. Been so lucky so far, but we knew this would happen , just not when. They are able to keep her comfortable with more drugs but also makes her very tired , that's not all bad though as she can sleep through it and sleep is a good healer.anyway that is Dr. Chickens theory. Hopefully we are a short time away from her new numbers starting and growing everyday!!!! Our little friend Staci got to go home today, what a little trooper she is. Her little boys got to skip school to come with Dad to get her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They are all for sure riding on cloud 9 as we are for them.. Kathy ,thank goodness seems to be back on the road to recovery, we have got to teach her to drive as she is hitting way to many bumps in the road. Saw Cleo & Gay last eve. and thank goodness Allan was out of a successful surgery,and resting well.. Seemed Cleo was needing to do the same had been a long hard day for them also. Due to Brenda's numbers I'm afraid to visit another floor. Until tomorrow!!!!!!Chick

    Wish I could make it all go away for you Brenda. Glad your mom is there with you through all of this. Will pray extra hard for you to feel better soon. Hang in there and know that we all love ya.

    What a wonderful intern you have!! Sounds like a good dr too!! She is right and rest is a good healer so along with our prayers you will be back to feeling wonderful in no time.     Chicken,
    Keep our girl resting and when she wakes up she won't know she was even sick. I know when I have a cold or the flu, I like to stay in bed and get waited on and I seem to get better quicker. Hopefully this sickness spell won't last too long or with those wonderfull drugs she will be able to sleep right through it. With all the construction going on, it's a wonder she can sleep. Thanks Chicken for the blogging update. As the days to final recovery draw near, we are all anxious to hear how things are going. The prayers are still going your way and I wished on another shooting star so Brenda is covered from this end. I hope she gets to feeling better and give her a kiss from me. Lots of love to you both.

    Thank you so much Chicken for keeping us updated. We are all praying for Brenda to fly through this rough time. It is so nice that Stacy got to go home I can just imagine how happy her family is. Just think of the homecoming Brenda is going to have.

    Hey Sissy and Grandma-

    Hey there little blog intern. you are becoming quite the little typer!! I'm proud of you for learning so quickly and doing so well. You only thought that you couldn't learn!! Mom is here this week helping us with the girls. It's been nice to have her here. It's almost like we have a nanny on board...kids are fed and bathed, house is clean and dinner is ready when we walk in the door. Sad to hear that Sissy isn't feeling so well but I guess that this is just part of the ride on the road to healing. Tell her to hang on take the bumps slow and to keep looking ahead the end is in sight!! Annie is still pregnant and she had a blood test last Sunday to check her HCG levels and they were looking for it to double from her last test which was 165 and her Sunday test was 615!! They are thinking that it is so high because it could be twins!! They have an ultrasound on Sept. 16 so we will see then. Well, we love you very much and think of you every second.. Hang in there and take care of each other. Love you..
