Tues.Sept 9
Hello. My this day is getting away from us faster than we are getting stuff done, spent the a.m.with the diabetes's lady learned alot of stuff I guess we are ready (she is for sure, and of course she just did it all like she had done it forever) as for me I'm sure I can if I have to. This afternoon I will go to Brent's Place and check it out and see whats there and what we will need, as well find the easiest and fastest way to the clinic. Her spirits are wavering today, we just need one day they don't spring something new on her, she has continually taken everything like a champ but it does start to get overwhelming. Will keep you updated, until then have a GREAT day. And TO AUNT ALICE; Happy b-day!!! Hope it's the best one ever!! We are so going to have ONE-BIG b-day party when we get home as we are missing every ones!! Lots of Hugs & Love to everyone chick
sugar up, sugar down. It is like a totally UNFUN merry go round. I know you just can't feel well with that going on as well. Hope to get to talk to you tonight. Love ya barb
ReplyDeleteBrenda and Chicken,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the updates and glad that things continue to improve. I hope Brent's Place was nice and that you don't need a lot. You will both feel better being close to the clinic for now.
It warmed up again today and that was nice. It has been so cold and rainy I wondered if we would have any more warm days!
School is going fine but only our second week. The honeymoon is over and now the kids are starting their usual!!
Take care and know we are thinking of both of you.
Love, Joanne
Hey there--Glad to hear you're getting "out". Hope the learning goes well. We miss you both. Stay strong we know you are a fighter(both of you). love-tate and staci
ReplyDeleteHi all you bloggers and blog readers. Since we won't be able to be at the walk in Denver on the 25th to support the Pink Tigers I was thinking it would be fun to have a mini walk here to show Brenda and the girls we are there for them. Teri Buckman said she would make shirts for us to wear on that day. She will sell them for $6.00. We are coming up with a design showing support for the Pink Tigers. Then I thought it would be fun to pick a centeral meeting place like the gazebo on the court house lawn and do a short walk. We could get lots of pictures to show our girl we are still pulling for her. I am leaving for vacation on the 13th Just like me to come up with an idea and hope someone else carries the ball. Teri's phone number is 307-283-1224 if you are interested in a shirt. If they have to be mailed there will be a postage charge. It would be great to see a ton of "pink tiger" shirts around town on the 25th
ReplyDeleteHi, sure wish more positive things were coming her way a little quicker but I'm sure they will here pretty soon. Hope things get better when she gets out of the hospital and can get around a bit. It was fairly nice today but a change is in store for tomorrow. Not ready for cold and rain!! I was hoping to have a nice long fall. You guys keep your spirits up. Thinking of you often. Love, Amy
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda and Chicken,
ReplyDeleteThank you Chicken for the continued updates. I am praying for peace and encouragement for all of you. Sometimes it seems there is no light at the end of the tunnel but God has promised us so much. I am headed for Julie's Wednesday the 17th for a week. Will be great to see those grandkids! Today Garrett is 8!!! I am hoping to be able to have lunch with him at school. Hugs to all, Aunt Penny
Good morning! I'm kinda slow getting around since I work at night. Glad to here you'll be getting out soon. It'll be easier to get better when you can rest well. Martial arts tourney in Cheyenne went well. Birch took first in forms and second in sparring. He's pretty scrappy. Hope this day is better for you.
ReplyDeleteLove, Leslie
Hope all goes well at Brent's Place-at least you get to eat Chicken's cooking!! Keep getting stronger and soon you will be home-not a minute goes by I don't think about you both. I will check on the walk here and at least wear a shirt if it doesn't work out. I am supposed to golf with some gals from here and Pine Haven on that day (my bday) and go out for supper after. We did this last year and had a great time.

Attention Sundance Area Bloggers!!! I have talked to Vickie and Teri about the walk on the 25th. The plan is to meet at the gazebo in the courthouse lawn at 6pm (in your pink t-shirt)for a little jaunt in honor of our Girl and all the others fighting leukemia. Contact Teri (283-1224) to get your "pink Tiger" t-shirt, she is still coming up with a final design- they are $6 each (can't beat that!!). Spread the word! Lets show Brenda we are all still here rallying for her!!! See you there-remember- Sept 25th- Ct house gazebo @ 6pm- in pink!!
