Hello From Denver

This Sis' brother Coy. Sis has been on the phone all day and can't get to the computer ha ha. Just seems like it. I know how important this BLOG is to all of you and I will push Sis to update you on a regular basis. Sis has just loved getting to talk to everyone. If you get a busy signal don't be discouraged it is happening to all of us. She's a pretty popular gal ;--) , He number is (303)-839-6220 if you give to give it a run, it goes directly to her room. I know she would want me to thank you for all your prayers, support, visits, cards and letters. We all have been overwhelmed with everyones generosity and care for her, what a blessing. It's been awesome for Jeff and I to be able to travel 30 minutes to visit Mom and Sis. We persuded Mom to stay with Hannah, Luke and I two nights while Brian was staying with Sis. I feel for Kirk and Leigh they are on the other side of the state and they have had sick kids so they have to hold off right now. It really brightens her day to get some kind of contact from home, family and friends. The benefit of that is we get to see her big beautiful smile!!
Here's an update on what's going on with Sis, today she is on her 5th of 7 days of CHEMO. She is doing wonderful, with still no side-effects from the treatments. Mom and her take laps around the 3rd level and she's trying to keep her WW girls happy!!! Her white blood count is now at 108 and was 3400 yesterday. She is now going into the stage of no immunity and hopefully soon it will be zero so they can start building it back up. We are thinking they will do another bone marrow test early next week to give the Dr's direction on what the strategy is going forward. Sis will update you with more tomorrow.
Love you all for loving my Sis

Coy

P.S. Mom and Sis want to give their prayers and thoughts towards Rod Malo and his surgery, keep us updated. Love you Rod
Sincerely,
Rod's Girlfriend (CHICK)

  1. Coy thank you so much for keeping us up to date. If Brenda is on the phone and can't get to this please, please keep it up for all of us. There are a lot of people reading it and not posting comments. So don't think we aren't using it. I tried putting a comment on here earlier but I think I did something wrong. So this is my second attempt. If you can get close to Brenda give her a hug for me. I am certain you know by now how much she means to all of us out here. She is an awesome gal and I know she has an awesome family. Congrats on the new baby by the way. Really neat isn't it? Barb

  5. Brenda,
It is sooo good to hear you are at zero. I bet you set a record going from 149,000 to zero in this short of time. Maybe your spunk and determination had something to do with that and of course all our prayers helped. Thank Coy for setting up this cool blog I lost 2 messages to you when I first tried to blog but I think I finally have it figured out. I quess 3rd time the charm. It keeps trying to snow here but then quits so hopefully it will bypass us. Hope the weather there is as cheery as you sound when I talk to you. Let me know if you need anything. Talk to you soon. 6. Boo, just a quick hi from Jane, Mom & I. Keep up the great progress and you will be home before you know it. They passed the $ bucket for you @ donkey B-Ball last night. Don't buy a donkey with it, they kinda smell. With Love Mary

  7. Hey Brenda,
This blog is pretty cool, lets see if I can figure out how to do it:) I just left a message on Coy's myspace to find out how to get ahold of you, and then mom called tonight and told me about this...way cool. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since the moment that mom called me. I wish that there was some way to be able to come and see you, but if there is anything that you need, please call me. Bob retires next month and then starts his new job the first of June so I guess coming back for a visit may not happen...but, you are more than welcome to come and stay with me and recover, you can just lay out at the beach and relax. Stay positive and strong, and know how much I love you. I will give you a call now that I have your number.
    Luv U,
    Rhonda
