GOOD EVENING,
I CANT WAIT TO SHARE WITH YOU MY AWESOME DAY. I HAD A 10:00 APPT AT THE CANCER CENTER, WE ARRIVED SAFELY AND ON TIME(EARLY), GOT RIGHT IN, SAW ONE OF MY FRIENDS SHE IS STARTING THE SAME TREATMENT AS ME. I FOUND OUT THAT I WAS FOR SURE GOING TO BE AN OUTPATIENT HAVING CHEMO 2 TIMES A DAY THRU A PUMP. I HAD A TREATMENT THIS AM NOW STARTING ANOTHER ONE TONITE, IT WILL GO OFF IN THE AM, I WILL THEN DISCONNECT IT AND HAVE TOMORROW OFF. WE FOUND OUT THAT MY 23 YR OLD DONOR IS A 9 OUT OF 10 MATCH AND ANOTHER DONORS BLOOD IS BEING TESTED!!!!!THE GOOD LUCK HASNT STOPPED THERE. WE WALKED OUT OF MY APPT MET UP WITH A WOMEN THAT MOM HAS MEET THRU CAREGIVERS MEETINGS AND AT THE HOSPITAL, HER DAUGHTER HAD A TRANSPLANT A YEAR AGO IS DOING GOOD, WE THEN GOT IN THE ELEVATOR WHERE AT THE 1ST FLOOR WE REALIZED THAT WE HADNT TALKED TO OUR TRANSPLANT COORDINATOR SO WE HIT THE BUTTON TO GO BACK TO THE 3RD FLOOR WHERE A YOUNG MAN JOINED US, MOM ASK HOW HE WAS AND HE TOLD US THAT TODAY WAS HIS 5TH YEAR CANCER FREE AFTER HIS TRANSPLANT, HE SAID THIS WAS THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO HIM, HE HAS CHANGED JOBS 2 TIMES, GOT MARRIED AND IS LOVING LIFE. IN OUR OPINION WE HAVE HAD A NICE LIFT FROM ABOVE TODAY.IM SO LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL AND POSITIVE DAY, MOM TOO HAS FELT HOW BLESSED WE ARE TO HAVE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL DAY AND FOR US BE AT COYS TOGETHER. I AM PRAYING FOR OUR GOODNESS TO CONTINUE.
SORRY I WAS SO LATE(COMPUTER NOT WORKING AGAIN) AND SO WINDY TODAY BUT WAS SUCH AN EXCITING DAY THAT I COULDNT WAIT TO SHARE. THANKS FOR READING AND SUPPORTING US!!!! TRULY COULDNT DO IT WITHOUT ALL OF YOU.

Wow! There are days that we just need that extra lift. Amazing how God provides it just when we need it most. Praying for your time to be blessed, your relationships to grow deeper and your trust in God to be strengthened as you walk through this trial.

ReplyDeleteHow awesome. God really works in mysterious and wonderous ways. He is right beside you helping you out!! I'm sorry I'm not there to be more helpful but I'm glad you can stay out of the hospital this round... now when you're feeling up to it we can walk the loop at home together... so fun

ReplyDeleteWOW! What great news you had. You are being truly blessed and know that it is because of your positive attitude. It is nice that you can stay at Coy's house and such good news about your donor matching almost perfect. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Pam and Dan are in Alzada and are coming down to see me today or tomorrow. I have given her your blog, too, so that she can keep up on your great progress.
