Seems summer is slipping away way to fast, waited so long for it to happen and here we are looking down the nose of fair and rally.. Guess that's how it happens when you start getting old!!!!
Have enjoyed family get togethers the last 2 weekends and will be going to Rock Springs this weekend for Lisa's daughter Hailee's wedding. Will meet up with Coy and Hannah there.. They just found out they will be having a baby girl, and are very excited. Kirk will be home (and maybe our little Peyton as well) for a week to give Brian a hand. Jeff and Jakob, and Coys family were here 2 weeks ago, so have got to have everyone and see them alot more than I expected I would this summer and that was a welcome surprise. Bill and barb were here a few days visit and to attend our Aunt Pat and Roy Glenn's 50th wedding Anni. Was so great too see everyone and we had such a nice day...
We took a heck of a beating from the storm that went through last mon. in Hulett. Roger and Donna's house was totaled, Moms gets new siding, roof and windows, Howard's roof, siding and windows, and for me I got my car and pickup totaled, the up side is all those things can be replaced but NO ONE was hurt or caught out in it, for this we can be and are so thankful........
Hope this finds everyone enjoying their summer and doing all the things you wanted to, and planned to do.

Hello! It has been a long time since I checked in on this site - but I was just going through a bunch of my links and found it again so I figured I had to check in.
I am sure you all are going through a lot of emotions as each month since the loss of Brenda passes by. We too are going through the same thing as it has now been a year - yes a year, since our beloved Patty was lost. I can still remember those horrible last couple of days in Bone Marrow North - ugh.
I hope that you are finding peace and some happiness as each day passes.

I am so sorry to hear about your car and pickup. Darn weather. From the looks of the pictures it is a real blessing that everyone is still alive. I was in Ohio when I heard the news. What a mess. A girl for Coy huh? That is great. Tell everyone hi Chicken and if you ever have a few minutes call and we can do lunch.

Just wanted to say thank you for the very kind words that you left on our blog. Both Zack and I really appreciate them. We'll keep checking in on you and seeing what you are up to. You are definitely right those "firsts" are hard to get through but it sounds like you have the right viewpoint and Brenda would want you to live life to the fullest and be happy. I am sure of that!

Glad also that no one was hurt in that awful storm. It has been a very strange summer in my book. Lots of cold and rain and just plain weird weather for us.
I didn't have the heart to go to the fair dance-so if you were there sorry I missed you. I didn't even go to the pig wrestling. Just wasn't at all interested-kept thinking of seeing Brenda last year at fair and my heart just wasn't in it. I still swear she had the most perfect and beautiful smile and that sure comes to mind most!
We have our last golf tournament here this weekend with the club championship. I will pull in the last place spot as usual!! But someone has to do it!! Then there will be a get together for Jett's 50th bday. Had a dance last weekend for Kim's 50th at the golf course-got the cops to come visit as he said we were too noisy! Probably good we don't do that much I guess!
You have a great rest of the summer and I am going to try not to cry too much when Hayden heads to school! Dude Humphrey took some stuff to Dickinson where he is heading to work and I thought he left without saying goodbye and I was a wreck!! But he will be back this weekend before going for good so I will get my chance yet! I have too many adopted boys that have stole my heart-it will be way too quiet at my house soon.
