Hello to our loyal followers....
Its been awhile, and seems alot things have happened so will try and get it all written down before the memory dims.....
Got together in Denver over New Years, so awesome to see everyone and spend time together, not to mention everyone needed to be introduced to our newest addition Emry Dee, what a beautiful and precious blessing we have received. Jeff's nor Coy's had met our Little Gus, he just makes us all warm and fuzzy on the inside so cute and such a sweet baby, not mention growing like a bad weed... We had a wonderful time, even though the stomach flu bug took its turn with almost everyone!!!!
A big ole thank you to Vickie for keeping watch over "THIS OLE HOUSE" during all that cold weather, AND a great big ole thanks to Eva, Elvin, Chipper and Rod Malo for coming to fix the broken line and clean up the mess, Sorry guys!!!!! I love you, and someday I hope to be able to repay all of you for the years of helping me out at the drop of the hat!!!!!
Brian,Kayla and I took off Dec. 30 , they were to leave me until the 8th. but never made it home until the 16th.. It was great though....
While down there I received news of Brenda's donor. WOW had been waiting since Aug. so excited to hear about him as Brenda knew she just had to meet him to thank him and let him know he was her HERO. The little gal from his end told me I would just love him as from minute one he was willing and ready to do whatever had to be done and that he was such a good person, a sweet person, and a true pure heart....
This for me was such a double edged sword, so excited and happy he wanted to meet with us and we had be anxiously waited so long, but it stung and hurt deep that it would only be us getting to do what she had dreamed of, in her mind she had him pictured and guess what in the end I would bet she did and had it right. I couldn't call him for a week or so as every time I thought of him and would try to tell of him all i could do was cry, didn't really figure he would want to be on the other end of some ole woman blubbering. When I felt I could do it with dignity I called, left message. then he called left message, then we did all that again, and finally yesterday we got to visit. His name is Sean, he is 25yrs old,and is a fireman in New York AND from talking to him he is just as wonderful as we knew he must be... He said he would like to visit us up here so if and when it happens I would love for him to meet all our wonderful friends, family, and our community that was as well her life support...Remembering everyday someone from home gave her reason to smile, laugh, feel loved and blessed.... Yes what a special day to meet such a special young man who in his words he just signed up to do it in hopes he would be able to help someone someday, Thank you Sean for giving her a last chance, you are our hero as well......
I am just as sure he is everything Brenda imagined and we all bless him. What a true inspiration. Trudy
ReplyDeleteChicken,
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you were able to talk to Sean and he sounds like a very special person. That would be so awesome if he could come out and meet all of Brenda's wonderful family and friends. I am glad you were able to go to Colorado. Sounds like the cold weather got to your house but nice that you had family close by to help you out. Thinking of you. Joanne
