Wens. Feb.18

Friends and Family:
Had hoped we would be able to start our new year out on a different note than we had ended last year. But guess its not time yet. Everyone was saddened when Kayla lost her Grandmother Ronnie Couch 2 weeks ago. I so wish we would have got ton to know her as she was so well spoken of and Kayla loved her dearly. She had not been well for a long time. This week my cousin Dena lost her 32 year old son Melvin Clyde in an auto. accident. This is such a heart breaker as he was so young and had so much to live for and being the Daddy of a little 5 year old boy!!!!! Actually the story goes he was 5 years old when his father died and his Mother was 5 years old when her father died!!! Another example of it is not ours to know the reasons WHY...

I was excited to share with everyone that there are 3 families we are lending a hand to at Brent's place. Of course they can't share alot of details with us but what we do know is this. The one little boy is 4 and is there for a transplant , his Mom is a single parent of 4 small children and another of them is a very bad diabetic, this family is of course on the most urgent list. A little 14 mo.old girl also in need of a transplant. A little 3 year old gal that ironically Coy went to College with her parents at Black Hills is also in need of the transplant. There are so many with so many needs not to even mention the need of just a little moral support. All these stories are different and yet the same at the end of the day.

Coy will be delivering to the families and will maybe get to meet some of them.. We had an encounter with a woman there with her 8 yr. boy from Montana. He was such alittle sweetheart and really ended up taking better care of himself than his mom ever did. Moral of the story as sick as he was she spent her nights across the street drinking beer and smoking. One Night she left about 10:00 showed back up after 2:00. This so didn't set well with me and I reported Her , this is NOT the kind of people I want Brenda's funds going to for those little ones I hope Coy will be able to see certain needs and by pass anyone who won't put the little ones first...

I know these are the things that would put Brenda in over drive and and by now all details would be taken care of . She would have been such a bright spot in their day but heck with all this maybe she still will be,just in a different form...Hope this finds everyone doing well. Love to all Chick and Crew

We have formed a relay team called "Boo's Team" and are raising money for the Relay coming up on May 8th. Since Brenda worked so hard last year raising money for this cause we want to pick up where she left off. If anyone wants to help whether it is with a donation or joining our team, go to www.relay.org/crookwy. We want to make Brenda proud!!!!

Hi, Chicken,
I have continued to check the BOO blogspot and am so glad to see that it is continuing. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you & say a little prayer. The feeling of loss I feel is nothing compared to what you have so just want you to know that you have not been forgotten nor has our special Brenda. She was such a joy! Always know that I am here for you anytime.
Blessings, Sue
