NOV 21, 2008

HELLO AGAIN, MY DAY HAS CONTINUED TO BE BUSY WITH POKING AND PRODDING. I AM NOW GETTING ANOTHER UNIT OF PLATELETS, THEY WANT TO BE SURE MY BLOOD AND PLATELET LEVELS ARE GOOD AND STABLE. THE SURGEON WAS IN SAID THINGS LOOK GOOD HE WOULD NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING,YEA! THE DOC CAME IN WAS GOING TO LET ME GO TOMORROW IF I COULD GET THE TUBE OUT OF MY NOSE, THEN BRIAN MENTIONED TO HIM THAT I HAD A COUPLE OF BIG BLOODY BOWLS AND THAT CHANGED HIS MIND, SO THEY ARE WATCHING FOR THAT ALSO. I HAD X-RAYS OF THE STOMACH THAT TOLD THEM THINGS WERE UN KINKED.THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST WAS IN AND INSISTED ON SEEING ME WALK, SO I SPUN HER AROUND THE NURSES STATION A COUPLE OF TIMES AND SHE SAID WE COULD BE DONE, SHE WAS CONVINCED THAT I WOULD BE FINE ON MY OWN. THEN BRIAN AND I MADE MORE LAPS LATER. LETS SEE DID I MISS ANYTHING?OH HOW COULD I FORGET I JUST GOT THE TUBE OUT OF MY NOSE IT IS HEAVEN, I'M STILL ON CLEAR FLUIDS. MY CHAPLIN FRIEND NORA STOPPED BY, ALSO JANE WOOD CAME TO SEE US, THEY ARE ALWAYS A RAY OF SUNSHINE.

I HOPE TONIGHT IS UNEVENTFUL AND THERE WILL BE LOTS OF SLEEPING GOING ON. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES INCASE YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF ME!!! LOVE YOU ALL. BRENDA AND CLAN

glad to hear the tube is out. You're the little engine that could, can, will, and does:) I can just picture you running circles around that nurse on your walk:) that cracks me up to picture it. I'm sure she was out of breath trying to keep up:) Glad to hear you will be on your way out and eating turkey soon:)
