Hello to everyone who still checks in.

Kinda slow this month and for sure not for lack of news!!!! Our baby boy arrived Aug.26 weighing in at 9lb. We have been blessed with a healthy baby and mommy. He is so sweet, and such a good baby, Gus David has already stole our hearts!!!! AND, Brian and Kayla ARE EXPECTING, Yes this is for real, May 26 is the due date, this is just so exciting, and she broke the news on Brian's Birthday, he seems to think this was the best b.day ever.

Thanks to April and Marla getting it rolling , the second annual Pink Tiger walk took place Sept. 25. Thanks to all who came and took part,as well for the donations. The funds will be for another local person finding themselves in the position as we did with Brenda. This would be so Brenda as she was such a giver, her most rewarding days were when she could give someone something they wanted or needed. Coy, Hannah and Luke made it home for the walk, last year Hannah organized the team that walked with Sissy, Stacie,Debbie, and Kathy in Denver. Thanks kids as always you make me proud.... Kathy has just received the long awaited news she has NO cancer cells left in her spinal and is now 100% her donor,she has so struggled for this wonderful news. Debbie and Stacie are as well 100% their donors and doing pretty well, the great news is they are able to be home and be with their families and be a part of their kids lives...... For them I am so happy..... For us it would be a lie if I didn't wonder "WHY".....The Pink Tiger group was named by PSL staffers and one of the gals husbands,Brenda and Stacie were admitted the same day, had the same Dr. and the gals had if nothing else FEAR of the unknown to bind them. A couple weeks later Kathy was admitted, now we had someone with 2 commonalities, AML and from Wyo. A couple weeks later Debbie joins us and such a sick scared little gal she was.. Everyone seemed to just take her under their wing. They just fought this big ugle thing together, never seemed to much time that everyone would have a good day at the same time, I guess that left them able to encourage the other when they had their worst days. Thanks again everyone for organizing, donating, and taking part of the Second Annual Pink Tiger Walk!!!!!

Seems to be alot of leg work to get any answers for meeting or not meeting with the donor.... I sent off all our paperwork in Aug. and still haven't heard anything. But if and when I do I will share with you.....
