Hello to all who still check in:
Today is Brenda's birthday day, the second one without her!!!! I hope it is like I make up in my head, that with all the love ones she is with and all new friends she has made, it will be a wonderful celebration like none we ever had here..... Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!!!
"What we have once enjoyed
We can never lose.
All that we love
Becomes a part of us." Helen Keller
This was on a picture of a mothers hands holding a babies feet, and given to me to hang with Sissy's pictures, I love it, it is so true........
Went to Delta and surprised Kirk for his birthday and spent a week enjoying my precious grand kids. Had a great time.
Coy and Family were here last weekend, had such a nice time but of course it all went way to fast..... Uncle Roger took little Luke out to feed cows, he had a ball....
Spring is peeking its head out every once in awhile, hope its not just teasing us!!!!! Can almost smell the green grass.......
I want to thank Norma Peterson for the first donation to the Pink Tiger walk, My hopes for this year is that we will have enough to make a difference to someone in need. As for someone in need Norma has been such a blessing in my life, there has been so many times I was having trouble lifting myself out of the blues, and here would show up a sweet little card from her, as did one this week when I have so dreaded "today". Thank you Norma.. You make me want to be a better person and take that time to make another person have a better day......
Will of course be sure and post when Brian and Kayla have their little bundle..
Love to All Chick & Family

Hello All......
Wanted to share that the donations from the 2nd. annual Pink Tiger walk, was "Payed Forward" to a local dealing with Cancer and on his way to Mayo clinic .... Our hearts and prayers are with Mark Burgess and his family, we can only hope he will be one of their success stories....
I felt so proud to have the privilege of giving in the name of "Brenda"she lives on ,and just keeps finding ways to give.. Now I must find ways to build the fund back up and have a start before the next Pink Tiger Walk......

Hello to our loyal followers....
Its been awhile, and seems alot things have happened so will try and get it all written down before the memory dims.....
Got together in Denver over New Years, so awesome to see everyone and spend time together, not to mention everyone needed to be introduced to our newest addition Emry Dee, what a beautiful and precious blessing we have received. Jeff's nor Coy's had met our Little Gus, he just makes us all warm and fuzzy on the inside so cute and such a sweet baby, not mention growing like a bad weed... We had a wonderful time, even though the stomach flu bug took its turn with almost everyone!!!!
A big ole thank you to Vickie for keeping watch over "THIS OLE HOUSE" during all that cold weather, AND a great big ole thanks to Eva, Elvin, Chipper and Rod Malo for coming to fix the broken line and clean up the mess, Sorry guys!!!!! I love you, and someday I hope to be able to repay all of you for the years of helping me out at the drop of the hat!!!!!
Brian,Kayla and I took off Dec. 30 , they were to leave me until the 8th. but never made it home until the 16th.. It was great though....
While down there I received news of Brenda's donor. WOW had been waiting since Aug. so excited to hear about him as Brenda knew she just had to meet him to thank him and let him know he was her HERO. The little gal from his end told me I would just love him as from minute one he was willing and ready to do whatever had to be done and that he was such a good person, a sweet person, and a true pure heart....
This for me was such a double edged sword, so excited and happy he wanted to meet with us and we had be anxiously waited so long, but it stung and hurt deep that it would only be us getting to do what she had dreamed of, in her mind she had him pictured and guess what in the end I would bet she did and had it right. I couldn't call him for a week or so as every time I thought of him and would try to tell of him all i could do was cry, didn't really figure he would want to be on the other end of some ole woman blubbering. When I felt I could do it with dignity I called, left message. then he called left message, then we did all that again, and finally yesterday we got to visit. His name is Sean, he is 25yrs old,and is a fireman in New York AND from talking to him he is just as wonderful as we knew he must be... He said he would like to visit us up here so if and when it happens I would love for him to meet all our wonderful friends, family, and our community that was as well her life support...Remembering everyday someone from home gave her reason to smile, laugh, feel loved and blessed.... Yes what a special day to meet such a special young man who in his words he just signed up to do it in hopes he would be able to help someone someday, Thank you Sean for giving her a last chance, you are our hero as well......
