Our Tough Tigers

Good morning everyone, just wanted to post some pictures for you all. It was a beautiful night in Denver last night and so awesome to see the night lit up with balloons of some many!! We made a banner to represent our team, I don't have a super close up, but wanted to tell everyone what was on it. It says "Tigers are tough, Tigers are mean, they fight a disease that cannot be seen, but don't be fooled by their name Pink Tigers, cuz these ladies are tough, they're real fighters." There were 9 paw prints across the banner, representing chick her sons and the wives and across the bottom were the handprints of little kids in our fam, and the hands said "hands down, our aunt sissy is the toughest in town" What a night. What an honor it was to walk for 4 special women and especially Brenda, and what a woman she is, that walk got kind of long, and she was speed walking it the whole time:) Enjoy the photos, thanks for all the donations. We raised over $600! Thank you a million times over!!!! Hannah

Brenda,
You are so great. I just love your spirit and attitude. Just wanted to let you know that I wore the Pink Tiger shirt here at the office all day but because it is Hulett's Homecoming and the kids had activities I missed the walk here. I should have stayed....I hit one of Dan Taylor's steer calf on the way home. Didn't do to much damage to my car....just really sucks!!
Anyway, hang in there and we are thinking about you all the time and praying for your return home soon.
Best wishes, Tina & Steve
P.S. Tell Brian Hello for us!!

Brenda:
Hope you get to see the pictures from here soon. I was so excited to see so many turn out to encourage you (and one another). The little boys also did the walk, but ended up in the stroller for part of it. I think we were the very last ones in, but oh, what a joy it was to complete!
Thinking of you often, and praying for you regularly.
Silas has been taken of all foods except his formula and pedialyte. Will continue with this treatment plan until some tests are run next week. There is talk of a feeding tube. His mom and dad are very discouraged. Going with no food has hardly phased him, he was chasing Nevada and Micah(?) all over the lawn last night. You'd never know he hadn't had a bite to eat since Monday.
Hang in there. We love ya.

Brenda,
Boy what great pictures and you have the biggest smile of them all. Having many family members there with you was such a wonderful support and with all the family members and friends back here walking---you surely had to have felt all the love and support. Plan B with the new treatment will work on you just like that other guy that is doing well on it so worry no more. You just needed something new and different thats all and I have faith that with your great upbeat spirt and this new treatment, we will be seeing you back home, happy and getting healthier each day.
Get rested up after your "Light the Night" walk and I'll talk to you later. Love ya.

Hello grandma chicken, I just wanted to say hi. Brenda is going through a rough time right now. But it sounds like she is doing good. I just wanted to let you know that even though we live a long ways for you we still try to read the blog everyday. And want you all to know that we are going to try to come down and see everyone even the new cousins. When I read the blogs it makes me feel very sad and heart broken for brenda. Anyways I will talk to you later. Love Elyssa Fuller
