Sept 11 thurs.

Hi. Slow again today but it's been school all day. I sure hope we don't have a written test tomorrow or they will take my daughter from me. This would have been a good day for her boss or co-workers to set with her I am sure the names of all that stuff would make more sense to them. I think we will be fine as she does not get that much of the (I'm seeing things and hearing things stuff ) now that things are going alittle more her way!!!!!!!So she is comfortable with doing this. We will be out and on our own tomorrow, feels so good but it is also alittle scary as now we are totally in control of all those meds as well we will even do a IV drip. Heck we can do it, and if not that's why we are for a couple weeks staying so close to the clinic. If it wouldn't have been for blood, and sticking people with needles I should have been a nurse.ha ha That's been our day. Hope this finds everyone well and hope to see you soon. Love to all chick

Chicken, maybe you have found your new calling, never to late to go back to school, as I have found out ;)
It sounds like you guys are doing much better, what a great team!!
I'm still at work and checking in on you, more time here to do it than at home, as there are those darned ol' tomatoes waiting. I shouldn't complain as there are many who aren't getting any. Well better get out of here and get home and finish canning.
Love you guys and glad to hear things are moving in your favor.

Hi, glad to hear that the move when well and hope it's a more comfortable place to recoup. Is Brenda able to go outside and do whatever or is she still confined to her room? I hope she can get outside before the weather turns bad since she spent most of her summer in the hospital. Sounds like things are picking up and maybe you guys will be able to go home soon. Nothing much going on here today. Just wish I could get this house sold! Take care, Love, Amy

Chicken,
You will be a wonderful nurse for Brenda cause I know you can do anything! You are an amazing person. If you need anything just ask, even if it is just someone to listen. HUGS from HOME

Chicken & Brenda,
Nurse Chicken has a nice ring to it don't you think. You probably know more about meds, IV's, shots and drawing blood than most of us. It is always nice to know a little of that stuff but out of necessity you have had to find out. Glad to hear things are coming along fine and no more fevers and rashes. After all this, Brenda will never complain about a little sinus infection again. That will only seem minor after all she has been through. Hope the move today (Fri.)
goes smoothly and the new digs will be comfortable and a NEW adventure. Stay rested and we will talk soon.

Hey Ya'll,

We hope the move is going well, and you
get settled in for the weekend. It is
so great to have this blog, as we have
been traveling and out of the loop, so
it was nice to be able to catch up.

Sounds like it has been rough since the
transplant, but with the move things are looking up. One step at a time, and some of those steps are much harder than some of the others. All anyone can
do is their best for that moment in time. I know you all have it in you
to do your best.

I think of you all everyday, and send
the love. Bryce and his new bride say
hi and get well soon!

Love,

Lori & Leon

Dear Brenda and Aunt Chicken, It was just my luck to be in Denver on your very busy day. It was so wonderful to hear your voice so strong Brenda. It made my day to talk to you. I love and miss you lots. Just spent some time reading in-depth the blogs since we've been gone. Realize it was a tough couple of weeks. You are doing so well dealing with these curve balls. So proud of you. Want to squeeze you and never let go! Can't wait to see you in person, and the rest of the crew. I hope you will like your new temporary pad, and Aunt Chick you will do fine getting back and forth. Love from me.
