HI FROM THE HOSPITAL,
WE LEFT OFF GETTING ADMITTED ETC. I HAD MY BONE MARROW BIOPSY AT NOON. THE DR. WAS NOT ABLE TO GET BONE BUT SETTLED FOR BLOOD. I WARNED HIM I HAVE VERY HARD BONES AND WAS HARD TO GET, HE SAID GREAT. THEY SAY THAT THERE IS ONE OTHER MAN THEY KNOW OF THAT HAS HARDER BONES THEN I DO. IN MOST CASES THAT WOULD BE A GOOD THING. I RECD MY FIRST ROUND OF CHEMO YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. THE REST OF THE NITE WE JUST SETTLED IN AND DID OUR LAPS AND LET MY DRUGS WEAR OFF, IN TIME FOR BED.
FRIDAY AM STARTED A T 4:30 PREPARING FOR CHEMO #2 AND 2 UNITS OF RED BLOOD. MY PLATELET WENT DOWN A LITTLE ALONG WITH THE WHITE CELLS, BUT MY ANC WENT UP SO I HAVE A LITTLE MORE IMMUNITY TODAY, MAYBE ONE LAST DAY OUTSIDE FOR A WHILE. THEY GIVE ME BENADRYL AND TYLENOL BEFORE GIVING ME THE BLOOD, SO I HAVE BEEN VERY LAZY THIS AM, PRETTY MUCH SLEPT IT AWAY IF THE NURSES WOULD LEAVE ME ALONE. SO THATS WHERE I STAND AS OF TODAY. WE WILL BE KEEPING IN TOUCH.
LOVE TO ALL, BRENDA

Hey there, Hope you got to go out. We are raining off and on today. Hope it is nice for tomorrow nite. Already miss your beautiful smile and can't wait to see you again! Take care and do as they say! Get strong and well, we are all praying for you and love you lots! Trudy
Brenda,
Strong bones are good, that means you have been a good milk drinker. My mom always said milk builds strong bones and strong minds. Virgil hasn't drank milk in his lifetime so I fear if he falls down he will crumble or when he is real old he will be only about 5 feet tall because of bone deterioration. I can see if they needed to get into your bone, softer bone density would be better. I get to work on the dreaded statements this weekend. I forgot how much fun they can be. HaHa. Thank you so much for blogging daily to let us know how you are doing. You might think it is boring to do but I log on 4-5 times a day until you have blogged so I can find out how you are, the good and the bad. God will answer all our prayers and you will be home soon. Will talk later. Charlene
I love reading your blog. It makes me feel closer to what is going on. Sounds silly, I know. I am so glad you enjoyed your time at home. Today was the last day of school here. Matthew was so sad he cried because he will miss his teacher and friends. He isn't a sissy, just sentimental. Jim and I took the boys to Dairy Queen after supper to celebrate end of school. Lee had to work all day and until 10 tonight. Love you lots Brenda, Here is a hug ((((((((((0)))))))))

Brenda,
I am so glad you had the opportunity to go home and see your friends and family. It was so nice Bill and Barb came to see you. What a great family you have! I know your Grandma was thrilled to see you.
I hope your chemo goes okay and just know that you have many people praying for you and keeping you in their thoughts. I hope you were able to go outside one more time.
I am off to go paint. I am helping Nicki and Doug paint their house. Big job, but will look nice when it is done.
Hang in there and keep smiling.
Love, Joanne
